Life Painting
During two of the classes we did gestural painting using life models. The first week we used primary colours to paint a variety of poses for differing amounts of time. I enjoyed the 5 minute and 2 minute paintings but found the 1 minute time frame too stressful!
The second week we used secondary colours. We started off with short studies then moved to a longer one where we were painting the negative space. I really enjoyed this exercise. I very much enjoy working with negative space.
